Tucked deep in the Canyonlands of Southern Utah, Horseshoe Canyon is not only a beautiful hike, it is also world famous for the prehistoric Indian rock art and fossilized dinosaur tracks that can be found in the canyon walls.

The Canyon is a perfect hike for anyone looking to experience the desert canyon the way it was meant to be traveled through; consisting mostly of sand and small, loose rocks, but there is often idle water resting in the canyon as well, so make sure to bring some reliable hiking boots or shoes. The high, red and orange canyon walls may provide some shade during your hike, but temperatures can be extremely high in the canyon–especially during the summer, so don't forget to bring plenty of drinking water.

Towards the end of the canyon (before it loops back around) you will face the Great Gallery, a wall covered in hundreds of Indian rock art. Take the entire family, bring a camera, and enjoy the canyons of Utah through Horseshoe Canyon, a trail not to be missed.
